my mind takes flight best
in the early morning hours-
it always has.
sounds of Yo-Yo Ma in the background-
it's a serendipitous mixture
of a moment of peace and
exhilarating creative thought…
should I turn the dining room into a sitting room?
that's it!
how can I soften the almost black?
I conjure up grisaille…a mural..the floral and fauna pattern
reminds me of the creek outside.
I imagine being at one of their wonderful parties-
this room in candlelight, sounds of the piano, stories,
laughter, a glass raised…
a jerk back to earth-
the "to do"list awaits!
